NOVEMBER 21, 2005
The City Council of the City of Gulf Shores, Alabama, met in Committee of the Whole work session on Monday, November 21, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., with Mayor Duke presiding. The meeting was held at Gulf Shores City Hall.
The following members were present: Councilmen Garris, Doughty, Harris, Craft, and Mayor Duke. Councilman Jones was absent.
The meeting was called to order. The Council discussed items of general business including:
1. Gulf Shores Woman’s Club - Parasail Safety
2. Phil Hunt - Alabama Improvement District
3. Amend Zoning Ordinance - Rezone Raley Property
4. Traffic Plan - Northwest Quadrant
5. Master Plan - City Hall & Fire Station #1
6. Purchase of Young’s Cabinet Shop
8. Change Order – Beach Berm and Dune Shaping
9. Update - Bond Validation
10. Update - Purchase of Mo’s Landing
11. Discussion - Possible BG Moratorium
12. Establish Date - Comprehensive Long-Range Plan Workshop
13. Prohibit Use of Tents/EZ-Ups on Public Beach
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m.
