Barbara Schild, passed away on May 5th, 2007.
Our deepest condolences go out to her family, who are in our thoughts and Prayers. We will all miss Barbara.
Barbara Anne Schild, 64, of Foley, died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at a local hospital. She held a master’s degree in library science from Rutgers University. She served as a special services librarian for the U.S. Army and had most recently served as librarian for the Gulf Shores Public Library. Survivors include her husband, Fred Schild of Foley; two daughters, Amy (Paul) Maliska and Jennifer Schild, both of Foley; her mother, Charlotte Heim; two brothers, Gary Heim and Timothy Heim, all of Baltimore; two grandchildren, Joshua and Skylar Maliska, both of Foley. Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 9 from the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home. The family requests
memorial donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation,
